  21. ALL functions of UUParser are disk based (parsing/coding/splitting/joining).  
  22. For those users who have enough ram you can turn disk based parsing
  23. off.  Doing so will make all operations faster.  Make sure you have allocated
  24. enough memory to parse files IF you turn off disk based parsing.

  26. -Added the capability to change unix permissions for files you encode.
  27. -set lines per segment for the splitting of files.

  40. I saw little need in adding file viewers (although it would be nice to have).
  41. There are other programs available that do the job quite well (JPEGView for
  42. one), so I decided not to re-invent the wheel.  However, version 2.0 will
  43. still have the capability of binhex/unhqx files, as well as parse such files.
  44. This functionality will be available to registered users.

  46. Unregistered Users:  When distributing, please include all files associated
  47. with the uuparser program (UUParser Prog., UUParser Users Guide, and
  48. this modification note).  By registering, the shareware reminder notice
  49. is removed, AND you get BinHex parsing. Thank you.
